Options for Giving

The most useful gifts are those with the fewest restrictions providing essential support to Mooresville Arts operations and programing. Each year we ask for your help in assisting with our most urgent needs so that we may continue to help foster a vibrant cultural amenity for the greater Lake Norman area.

We offer opportunities for businesses and corporations to partner with us as exhibit sponsors throughout the year. 

Donors who have indicated a bequest or future gift in a will, an estate, trust, life insurance policy or retirement plan are included in the Foundation’s Heritage Circle and, if desired, on our donor recognition wall and in future publications. (Please consult your attorney to set up a legacy gift to Mooresville Arts in your will and/or trust. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in including us in your legacy plans).

The most frequent method of making gifts is through our online giving page. However, we may also accept gifts of appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds; real estate; and tangible property such as equipment, art, books, jewelry, antiques, automobiles, coins, stamps, and other collections which represent value. A wonderful way to honor someone is to contribute to their honor/memory. A gift of this kind speaks volumes about the values of those we want to remember. Contact us or simply make your online contribution which will give you the option of giving tribute to your special person.

From time-to-time, Mooresville Arts may engage in capital or major gift campaigns. Such campaigns will be created to support initiatives beyond what our annual funding is able to support. For example, the Renovation Project of 2018 helped us uplift the existing "warehouse" space at the Historic Depot in Downtown Mooresville which expanded our galleries and updated technology.

Matching gift programs are in place at many area businesses and organizations. It is not uncommon for companies to double or even triple the value of an employee’s charitable contribution to your favorite nonprofit. To begin a matching gift, please contact your company or organization human resources administrator to obtain the necessary forms.
