"My background is not formal. I've been creating images since I was a young boy starting with my Dad’s Canon A-1 trying to create unique images with dandelions and the moon.  In college I took a single course to learn how to shoot and develop B/W film and have continued to learn through workshops and practice.   These experiences evolved over my life to become a passion and creative outlet for me from the corporate world.  I enjoy creating images predominantly with natural light. These range from unique items, to natural landscapes to portraits.  I create images of anything I find interesting but I particularly love capturing people in their own element, comfortable and having fun. Fall foliage, majestic Norwegian fjords, the simplicity of freshly picked grapes or the reality of lived experiences highlight my passion for capturing moments, naturally.

You will find a variety of images that range from the beauty of nature to the obscure. My enjoyment of photography also extends to taking photographs of people, whether it be a special occasion or the opportunity to capture spontaneous moments"

"I am a mosaic artist in Mooresville, North Carolina.  I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in textile design from Miami University, and began my career in textile design.

After 10 years managing my textile design business, I started playing around with mosaic and instantly knew I had found my calling. 

Gardens and nature inspire me.  I am also inspired by travel.  My work is influenced by the ancient mosaics I have seen, as well as the breathtaking scenery I have stumbled upon around the world.  Recently, I have been exploring mandalas and labyrinths in mosaic, borrowing from the hedge mazes and labyrinths I have visited, as well as my interest in meditation.  My mosaics range from framed art to architectural installations to functional pieces such as garden benches and tables.  

Another project I’m excited about is my new endeavor, Get Lost Mazes. Immersive 360° interactive art experiences, based on my mazes and labyrinths. Projected large-scale onto the floor, my labyrinths invite you to step into another world. The walls and ceiling swirl and change with each scene, while you wander the path. Meant to be enjoyed by all ages, and all abilities, I hope to stage these magical experiences in venues around the country. 

My goal is to bring beauty, joy, and a touch of magic to the world."
