Celebrating Film in Visual Art
Presented By Iredell Arts & Full Bloom Film Festival
This year's exhibition, Celebrating Film in Visual Art, is presented in partnership with the Full Bloom Film Festival and Speedball Art. The theme invites artists to explore the world of film through visual art. Whether that's inspired by a favorite movie, a memorable scene, a cinematic mood, an iconic character, or anything else that sparks your creativity.
The show will be on display from August 26–September 25, with an opening reception on August 26. There are cash awards available,
• Best in Show – $250
• Second Place – $150
• Third Place – $100
• Three Awards of Distinction – $100 Speedball Product Credit each
A few quick details:
• Open to artists ages 16+
• 2D work only (painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, mixed media, etc.)
• Up to 3 entries per artist
• Maximum size: 36" x 36" including frame
• Submission deadline: August 9, 2026
