Artist Talk with Rachel J Haungs — So You’re an Artist, Now What?
Be Prepared / Get Visible / Act Professional-ish
Description:
Join artist Rachel J. Haungs as she shares what it takes to confidently exhibit and promote your work. Drawing from her first year working with 12+ galleries and participating in 20+ shows across three states, Rachel offers honest insights on what she wishes she knew starting out—and how her background in marketing, communications, and design helped her learn how to simplify the process.
This talk is for artists who are ready to grow their presence but unsure where to start, who find social media daunting and are struggling to make progress in marketing their work. Hear more about how Rachel navigates social media, builds real-world connections, and developed a strategy that makes getting started feel achievable.
“Pulling back the curtain on everything I wish I knew before I started showing my work—this is my ‘fake-it-til-you-make-it’ strategy. Join me!"
Cost: Free for members and non-members to attend.
