
RECEPTION: Friday, July 10th, 2026, 6-9pm
The 250th Exhibit is a themed exhibit that is a showcase featuring visual art, as inspired by the United States Semiquincentiennial, which is the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. The theme is up to the artist’s interpretation, and he/she may submit any work as long as it fits somehow with the media, subject matter or presentation of the 250th.
Some examples include, but are not limited to: an art piece inspired by the time period during and/or the actual signing of the Declaration of Independence, an art piece about a significant historical event in the United States,or an art piece about how art has played a major role in the culture of the United States over the last 250 years. This exhibit will be on display in the Depot’s Center Gallery.
As long as the submitted artwork meets the criteria specified in the show prospectus and presentation guidelines, work will be accepted at intake and included in the exhibit. Please read the entire prospectus for complete information.
Incomplete submissions will NOT be considered. There are TWO STEPS in this show submission process (please make sure to complete both!)
