25 Years Later, A Walking Art Exhibit

Limit 1 piece per artist
This is a juried show, so not all entries will be accepted for exhibition. The jury panel will select (virtually) all art to be exhibited. Entrants will be notified if their work is selected, or not selected, for the exhibition. Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance for this opportunity, via email, by Friday, August 21st, 2026.

Attendees should gather at Richard’s Coffee Shop for the Silent Walk to Liberty Park.
A Sponsor's Choice Award will be given out during the event.
25 Years Later: A 9/11 Walking Art Exhibit is a themed and juried exhibit featuring visual art, as inspired by the events of September 11th, 2001, and the memory and lasting impact this event has had on our country. The theme is up to the artist’s interpretation, and he/she may submit any work as long as it fits somehow with the media, subject matter or presentation of September 11th.
Some examples include but are not limited to: an art piece inspired by the events that transpired on September 11th; the time period after the events of September 11th, an art piece inspired by the collective patriotism the country witnessed after the effects of the events.
This is a special exhibit and will be on display in designated downtown Mooresville participating businesses. A printed and digital map will be made available for the public to participate in this special event.
INTAKE: Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2-5pm
and Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11am-1pm.
